Job summary

City of Raleigh is seeking a part-time trolley driver to operate the Raleigh Trolley for historic downtown tours, school field trips, and private rentals. You will engage riders, share local history, and point out notable eateries and attractions while guiding visitors through the city.

Applicants should be customer service oriented, comfortable with all demographics, and available on weekdays. A CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements, plus a clean driving record and ability to pass

Qualifications

• Must provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Must be available on weekdays; weekend availability is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Raleigh Trolley for historic tours of downtown Raleigh.
• Provide information about local attractions and city history to passengers.
• Assist with school field trips and private rentals as needed.
