Job summary

Branch Builds, Inc. is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern in Raleigh, NC, for a hands-on experience in heavy civil construction.

Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors pursuing Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management will gain exposure across preconstruction, project management and field supervision with mentorship. Interns will interact with subcontractors and owners, assist in cost planning, scheduling, procurement and quality control, and

Qualifications

Currently enrolled college students pursuing Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related degree.
Courteous and professional attitude with coworkers, customers and the public.
Travel required with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Strong analytical and computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Passionate and determined to make a difference.

Responsibilities

Assist Preconstruction, Project Management and/or Field Supervision with training and mentoring.
Interact with subcontractors, vendors and owners.
Participate in cost planning, scheduling, materials procurement, cost control and quality management.
Prepare a presentation outlining intern experience at Branch.
Follow safety and security procedures and determine appropriate action steps.
