Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Raleigh, NC to join our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. This client-facing role focuses on municipal and public projects, supported by in-house cost management and scheduling in a fully integrated package.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of PM experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-disciplinary teams across design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or highly preferred in a related field.
• 5+ years of construction PM experience on municipal/public/hospitality projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and drawings/specifications.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and management of project strategic plans and program initiatives.
• Act as Owner's Advisor throughout all project phases.
• Oversee planning, design, and construction processes and coordinate related activities.
• Guide clients through design/construction complexities emphasizing ownership priorities.
• Coordinate with Architect/Contractor and other team members to meet objectives.
• Lead contracts negotiations, drafting, and execution.
• Manage budget and schedule; report to team and client regularly.
• Lead proposal reviews, leveling and analysis; present to client.
• Lead consultant and vendor selection, RFQ/RFP processes and term negotiations.
