Job summary

Conti Federal is seeking a Project Manager in Raleigh, NC to lead project teams and partner with Field Management to build safe, high quality, profitable projects while beating the estimate budgets and improving margins. The PM is responsible for the business side of the project, managing full P&L and business development.

The role requires five or more years of PM experience on construction projects, strong scheduling and cost-Estimation skills, and familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and secure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Five+ years as a Project Manager on construction projects.
• Experience with EM 385-1-1 and secure facility construction.
• Ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings.
• Experience with cost-to-complete and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and coordinate with Field Management to meet safety, quality, and profitability goals.
• Develop and manage the project schedule with the Superintendent.
• Maximize cash flow by managing invoicing and receivables documentation.
• Negotiate changes and owner-initiated scope items to maximize profits.
• Develop client relations to generate opportunities for new work.
• Support Marketing and Estimating with capture plans and bid strategies.
