Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager for a Raleigh, NC-based opportunity with a well-established general contractor. This role handles projects from preconstruction through closeout, focusing on multifamily, healthcare, or other commercial sectors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience, strong leadership, communication, and can manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and multiple stakeholders using Procore or similar CM software.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Lead project meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Review plans, specs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Track project financials, progress, and overall performance.
• Partner with field leadership to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Identify and resolve project issues before cost or schedule impact.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Raleigh team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with a strong track record managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate will have experience with multifamily, healthcare, or other commercial general construction projects and be comfortable managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, owners, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion

Ideal Background

• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
