Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking Commercial Rack Refrigeration Service Technicians to service supermarket and large commercial rack systems. Positions open at multiple experience levels, with compensation based on experience, certifications, and leadership abilities.

Must live within ~40 miles of Raleigh, NC or relocate within a reasonable commuting distance. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining rack systems, performing preventive and emergency service,

Qualifications

Experience servicing commercial rack systems.
EPA Universal Certification.
Valid driver\'s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial rack systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service on large commercial refrigeration equipment.
Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, evaporators, cases, controls, and related equipment.
Identify refrigerant leaks, evacuate systems, and properly charge equipment.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specs.
Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration failures.
Work with electronic controls and rack controllers.
Replace or repair compressors, motors, valves, and piping.
Document service findings clearly for customers.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and inventory.
Follow EPA regulations and safety procedures.
Participate in on-call coverage as required.
Work independently and communicate with dispatch and customers.
Experienced technicians may mentor developing technicians.
