Job summary

Refrigeration Design and Service, Inc. in Raleigh, NC, seeks a service technician to perform scheduled and contract maintenance on commercial and light industrial refrigeration systems at client facilities (supermarkets).

You will assist with installations and startup/commissioning, and collaborate with service coordinators to develop long-term client relationships. Responsibilities include executing routine maintenance, completing service reports, and troubleshooting control systems on rack

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; trade certification preferred.
• Refrigeration technical training or certificate desired.
• EPA certification required.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine maintenance and contractual service independently or with apprentice.
• Complete service reports for planning and billing; coordinate follow-up actions.
• Troubleshoot commercial/industrial refrigeration systems, including controls on racks, chillers, and packaged units.
• Use tablet-based service ticket software to update tasks and generate Work Orders.
