Job summary

Smart Care is hiring Commercial Rack Refrigeration Service Technicians near Raleigh, NC, with multiple experience levels. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial rack systems, perform preventive maintenance, and provide emergency service.

Applicants must have hands-on rack experience, EPA Universal Certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and use gauges, meters, and recovery equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing commercial rack systems.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work independently and during on-call rotates.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial rack refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service.
• Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specs.
• Use gauges, meters, recovery equipment, and leak-detection tools.
• Maintain documentation and communicate findings to customers.
