Open availability is required to cover rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred with emphasis on clear communication.
• Indoor desk position with administrative duties and staff training.
• Open availability for rotating 12-hour shifts, including days/nights and weekends.
• Facility operates 24/7 requiring weekend and holiday availability.
• Proficiency in typing, math, organization, and time management to perform administrative tasks efficiently.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office to manage reports and updates.
• Pre-employment background check, physical and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading/unloading of railcars for inbound/outbound units.
• Supervise train crews, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist in terminal operations to ensure safety and productivity.
• Execute daily operating plan and coordinate with rail crew/yardmasters.
• Collaborate with local railroad officers to resolve issues and optimize operations.
• Promote safety culture and prevent accidents and injuries.
• Conduct tests and investigations to assess training effectiveness and safety compliance.
• Provide training for switch crews and yardmasters on duties and regulations.
• Uphold safety practices and company policies at all times.
• Perform additional duties including administrative tasks as assigned.
