Univar Solutions is seeking a reliable Material Handler at its Phoenix, AZ facility to manage movement, storage and transfers of bulk materials. You’ll load/unload tank trucks, unload railcars, and move train cars within the railyard while maintaining safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 2 years in industrial material handling or rail yard logistics, ability to lift 50 lbs, pass forklift and railyard equipment certifications, and strong math/readiness to verify manifests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in industrial material handling or railyard logistics.
• Experience handling bulk liquid/dry transfers via tank trucks and railcars preferred.
• Forklift certification and certification for rail yard switching equipment required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong reading and mathematical skills to verify manifests and tank capacities.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload bulk tank trucks safely with correct hookups and weight distribution.
• Unload railcars and transfer bulk materials to storage silos or tanks.
• Move train cars within the railyard using switching equipment.
• Operate forklifts and yard vehicles to transport materials around the plant.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and logs for transfers and weights.
