Job summary

Spring Valley in Hatfield, MA is hiring a Raw Material Unloader to join our production team. You will unload railcars safely, record weights and quantities, and follow SOPs for samples and sieve tests before unloading railcars.

Qualifications

• Safety first and follow established safety programs.
• Excellent attendance; reliability is essential.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for a fast-paced setting.
• Experience operating forklifts; ability to stack pallets 2–3 high is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload railcars safely and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate unloading records including weights and quantities.
• Follow SOPs for sample collection and sieve tests before unloading.
• Perform general maintenance of the unloading system.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts/front end loaders) per safety policies.
• Move railcars safely within the plant.
• Visually inspect railcars and ensure safety protocols are followed.
