Job summary

Ceres is seeking a Technician to design, develop, and assemble complex railway systems and circuits to meet customer specifications. The role involves using hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical know-how to create reliable solutions and support ongoing product improvements.

You will reference SIS to locate service materials, test new and updated equipment, and collaborate with multiple departments to optimize performance and safety. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot complex circuits.
• Experience with testing and adjusting machinery.

Responsibilities

• Engineers new hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems and circuits to meet customer requirements.
• Designs systems and circuits to operate both new and existing attachments.
• Repairs damaged or malfunctioning equipment and attachments.
• Troubleshoots circuits and failures using computer software, hand tools, and pneumatic tools.
• References CAT Service Information Systems (SIS) to locate service letters and technical publications related to failures and issues.
• Tests and adjusts new, used, and updated machinery to ensure designs, circuits, and products perform at optimal levels.
