Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair control systems using relay logic in HVAC, generator, and locomotive contexts.
  • Install and maintain wiring for power, lighting, audio, and networks across cars and facilities.
  • Inspect and replace wiring, clean circuits, and prevent system failures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hazards or malfunctions and test installations.
  • Identify wiring needs and install cabling, raceways, conduits, and devices.
  • Document work using Windows-based software.
