Qualifications

• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.

• Ability to operate a range of vehicles and machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate switches and brakes to ensure trains move safely between tracks.
• Build trains by attaching/detaching freight cars, inspecting trains for rules compliance and order accuracy.
• Ensure working conditions are safe and PPE is used as required; safety conscious around equipment.
• Safely operate company vehicles and other equipment, following safety practices.
• Maintain good customer relations with proper radio etiquette and face-to-face communication.
