Qualifications

• Experience in railroad switching preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate a range of vehicles and machinery safely.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate switches and brakes to move trains safely between tracks.
• Build trains by attaching/detaching freight cars and inspecting for order accuracy.
• Ensure safety conditions and proper PPE before work; maintain safety awareness around equipment.
• Safely operate company vehicles and other equipment following safety practices.
• Maintain good radio etiquette and face-to-face communication for customer satisfaction.
• Foster teamwork and a positive work environment; uphold Look Good standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
