Job summary

Theuniversityunion is seeking a Railroad Signal Maintainer for the Venice, FL region. You will be responsible for testing, maintaining, and improving signal systems at grade crossings and way-side locations in accordance with FRA standards and CDL expectations.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of basic electronics, signaling principles, and strong time management. You will be on-call and travel within the territory, with duties including documenting testing records and compliance with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic electronics and signaling fundamentals preferred.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and using a multimeter is desirable.
• Willingness to be on-call and follow FRA rules.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain, and improve grade crossing warning systems.
• Follow testing procedures and FRA rules.
• Maintain records and documentation for HOS and testing.
• Collaborate with local railroad customers and teams.
• Be a team player and support other territories as needed.
