Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a S&T Supervisor (Safety and/or Training) to lead site-level safety and training initiatives at our Baytown site. The role supports operations by acting as leader in the absence of the Operations Supervisor or Superintendent, ensuring compliance with OSHA, FRA, and DOT requirements, and developing site-specific safety programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction standards and FRA safety regulations.
• Strong knowledge of railroad safety procedures including Roadway Worker Protection requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance programs for commercial drivers and mechanics.
• Fluent in English (speak, write, read).
• Able to stand 8-12 hours, work outdoors in extreme conditions, and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads site-level safety and training programs and acts as acting leader when Operations Supervisor or Superintendent is absent.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, client, and company safety standards through oversight and documentation management.
• Develops and maintains safety procedures, training materials, and site-specific compliance programs.
• Conducts employee onboarding, safety meetings, and field-level coaching to reinforce safe work practices.
• Provides regulatory interpretation and guidance to site and corporate leadership.
• Investigates incidents, conducts audits, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned to complete the job.
