Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination required, bachelor’s preferred.
• Proven leadership and management experience in railroad ops.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written, with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in safety, operating practices and financial productivity.
• Supervise crews, schedules, personnel, and payroll within budget.
• Develop high-performing teams through hiring, coaching and training.
• Collaborate with General Manager and HR on hiring and employee relations.
• Coach managers and employees on operating practices per regulations.
