Qualifications

• Five years of railroad industry work experience with supervisory duties.
• Knowledge and understanding of FRA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to ten employees in the Transportation Department.
• Oversee operations and administrative functions at the site/district location.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign and direct work.
• Appraise performance and address disciplinary issues.
• Maintain payroll within the targeted budget.
• Conduct efficiency and operating tests according to company practices.
• Investigate incidents ( derailments, injuries ) and prepare reports.
• Manage customer interface and monitor service quality under contracts.
• Assist in railcar-switching and lead personnel scheduling.
