Job summary

Hulcher Services Inc. is seeking a Laborer to support railroad derailment response operations. You will assist in clearing derailments by lifting and moving derailed rail cars and equipment, and perform related tasks on remediation sites, industrial locations, and rail construction.

Full-time role with travel up to 50% and 24/7 emergency operations. Requires valid driver's license, ability to work on call, and high school graduate.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to qualify for a Commercial Driver License.
• Experience in construction, landscaping, farming, or outdoor work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides ground support for operations.
• Lifts 150 lbs. max with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Carries, handles and detaches/attaches heavy equipment and tools.
• Operates tools and welding equipment as needed.
• Climbs on and crawls under derailed railroad cars and equipment.
• Maintains equipment service records.
