Job summary

Ring Inc. is seeking a Civil Designer with 5+ years of civil engineering experience to join our Wisconsin team. You will prepare drawings and exhibits using MicroStation/OpenRoads and assist with design plan preparation, production and overall project management.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on rail engineering projects for diverse transportation clients and help manage schedules, budgets and project deliverables. This role offers growth within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related civil engineering experience.
• Proficient with MicroStation/OpenRoads CAD software.
• Experience in rail design and project management.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multi-disciplined team on rail engineering design projects.
• Provide project management to staff on track design projects, including budgets.
• Create drawings and plan/profile sheets using MicroStation/OpenRoads.
• Develop digital maps from survey data and perform plan updates for submittals.
• Assist with estimation of engineering work and client updates.
