Job summary

Siemens Mobility on its Lexington, NC production floor seeks a qualified CWI to lead final acceptance in carshell welding and BG manufacturing areas. You will ensure weld integrity and conformance to drawings and specifications.

Requirements include a CWI or PT Level II, willingness to obtain missing certifications, and comfortable extracting data from databases and entering results into electronic inspection systems. Training travels to Sacramento are part of the role.

Qualifications

• CWI or PT Level II certification required or in progress.
• Ability to read specifications and procedures accurately.
• Willingness to obtain any missing certification within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual CWI inspections and dimensional checks on welded components.
• Apply NDT techniques to verify weld integrity.
• Ensure work aligns with configuration revisions and drawings.
• Perform first article inspections and document results clearly.
• Enter and retrieve data in inspection and CM systems.
