Watco Transloading, LLC is hiring an Unloader / Railcar Switcher in Linden, NJ. The role involves safely operating equipment to inspect, prepare, and transfer products between railcars and facilities, conforming to safety and environmental standards.

Compensation is $23.00 per hour with a 2,2,3 shift rotation (day/night). We emphasize teamwork, adherence to procedures, and flexibility to cover overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Formación

• Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow regulatory and company standards.
• Physical fitness and agility to work in all weather conditions, climb on/under railcars, and handle tools and equipment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, with availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate daily work plans and safety instructions to crew members; ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Operate and maintain pumps, compressors, valves, engines, and related equipment.
• Inspect, seal, and prepare railcars and equipment for product transfer.
• Connect and disconnect 4-inch offloading hoses.
• Monitor and document operations, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Watco safety, environmental, and Customer First principles.
