Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move and place railcars for product transfer between hopper/tank cars and bulk trucks.
• Verify tank car numbers with loading instructions for accurate placement by crew.
• Connect ground cable to dissipate static electricity and ensure safety.
• Open/close man-way covers as directed and inspect tank car exterior for leaks or damage.
• Read meters to verify volume of liquids to be unloaded and seal outlet valves.
