Job summary

R.J. Corman Railroad Company in Lexington, KY is seeking a Railcar Repair Team Member to perform welding and mechanical repairs on railcars and related equipment. The role requires ensuring accurate paperwork, meeting repair timelines, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment with proper PPE.

Qualifications

Railcar mechanical experience preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Good communication and people skills.
Ability to develop teamwork across all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

Welding, cutting, and mechanical type repairs.
Document work performed and record material usage.
Ensure paperwork for railcar repairs is complete and correct.
Complete repair jobs in a timely manner.
Maintain clean and safe equipment and work environment.
Ensure employees work in a safe manner.
Assist with inspection and repairs as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
