Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., is seeking an entry-level repair technician to support basic railcar repairs. You’ll work in a team environment using pneumatic/hydraulic tools to read drawings and perform tasks per work orders.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pass a drug screen and physical, and to work Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a culture focused on teamwork.

Qualifications

• Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to perform air brake tests or learn to do so.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with proper technique.
• Work in a TEAM environment with regular attendance.
• Must pass drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs on railcar parts according to layouts, work orders and blueprints.
• Utilize a variety of tools to support repair tasks; maintain a clean and safe work area.
