Job summary

Transco Rail Services, a Marmon Holdings company, seeks an Entry-Level Repair Technician to perform basic rail car repairs. You will use pneumatic/hydraulic tools to repair metal components, read drawings, and work in a team-driven environment.

The role requires physical ability, adherence to safety, and the capacity to pass a drug screen and medical exam. First shift, Monday–Friday, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Knowledgeable or willing to learn air brake test.
• Ability to pass drug screen and physical.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Teamwork and regular attendance in a workstation environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
• Perform a variety of rail car repair tasks and work in a TEAM environment.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas and report hazards.
