Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability and make safe decisions.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform basic railcar repairs and inspections.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a company physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance on tank cars in accordance with current procedures.
• Inspect railcars to ensure compliance and perform repairs as needed.
• Provide customer support to meet job expectations and maintain invoicing/work orders.
• Maintain certifications and adhere to AAR rules and regulations.
• Clerical duties include completing work orders and related documentation.
