Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to safely handle heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks while performing repairs. The role emphasizes safety, quality training, and long-term career growth within a company that values its employees.

On-the-job training is available; candidates should be 18+, able to pass screenings, and ready for a day shift with potential weekends. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear PPE and pass required medical exams.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interprets work orders and follows blueprints/schematics to perform repairs.
• Welds, cuts and gouges using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Notifies needed materials/equipment to complete tasks.
• Adheres to safety policies and quality standards (AAR/ARS).
• Completes additional duties to finish tasks.
