Job summary

PSC Group is hiring full-time Railcar Repair Technicians to safely handle heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks while completing repairs. The role emphasizes safety and training, with on-the-job training available and a commitment to quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include interpreting work orders, welding and cutting, material notifications, and adhering to ARS EH&S policies. Completion of tasks and punctual attendance are required, with clean background checks and drug screening

Qualifications

• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance is required.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Previous military experience is a plus.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints/schematics to perform repairs.
• Welds, cuts, and gouges using basic mechanical skills and tools.
• Notifies supervisor of materials or equipment needed to complete tasks.
• Follows all safety rules and ARS EH&S policies; keeps area clean.
• Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality standards are met.
• Completes any other duties as assigned to finish the task.
