Job summary

PSC Group is hiring full-time Railcar Repair Technicians to safely handle heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks while completing repairs. Join a team that values safety, quality training, and long-term careers with a company that puts employees first.

Role involves interpreting work orders, following blueprints, and performing repairs with basic mechanical skills. Training is provided, and a strong emphasis is placed on safety and on-site reliability at PSC locations.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training is available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE and pass medical exams as needed.
• Speak, read, write fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required.
• Previous military experience and following procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints/schematics to perform repairs.
• Welds, cuts and gouges using basic mechanical skills and tools.
• Notifies of materials and/or equipment needed to complete tasks.
• Follows all safety rules and ARS/EH&S policies.
• Ensures adherence to AAR, ARS and customer QA standards.
• Performs any other duties as assigned to complete tasks.
