Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Repair Manager at the Miles City, MT facility to schedule work, lead plant operations and drive daily processes. You will mentor area managers and supervisors while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This role requires coordinating production, reviewing QA, and contributing to continuous improvements. The team values talent, training, and adherence to high standards in a dynamic rail environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Preferably 5+ years of supervisory experience within rail car inspections, test, and repair.
• Knowledge of the Federal Railroad Administration regulations governing inspection and test of rail cars.
• Ability to read prints and drawings, including weld and nondestructive testing symbols.

Responsabilidades

• Coach, mentor, motivate and lead production Managers and Supervisors in all repair activities.
• Ensure safe working habits and safe working conditions by training and reviewing employees and work areas.
• Support QA efforts by ensuring compliance with OSHA, AAR, FRA, company and customer requirements.
• Make recommendations to the Plant Manager for continual process improvements while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Participate in employee interviews, new hire orientation and performance evaluations.
• Participate in internal, external and customer audits of the departments.
• Participate in daily Production Meetings reporting status of rail cars in process.
