JOIN THE PSC FAMILY: Railcar Repair / Maintenance Technician

Location: Burgettstown, PA

Summary: PSC Group is hiring a full-time Railcar Repair / Maintenance Technician to work safely around heavy equipment, railcars, and railroad tracks. This role involves coordinating and completing railcar repairs, with opportunities for learning and career growth. We value safety, quality training, and employee recognition.

Work Schedule: Straight days, 2-2-3 schedule, 12-hour shifts

Pay Range: Starting at $21.00/hour, with opportunities for advancement

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interpret work orders and follow blueprints/schematics for repairs
• Utilize mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge
• Notify materials or equipment needs to complete tasks
• Follow safety rules, keep work area clean, and adhere to safety policies
• Meet quality standards set by AAR, ARS, and customers
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training available
• Valid Driver's License may be required
• Must be 18 or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Pass drug screen, physical, and background check
• Military experience and procedure adherence are a plus
