Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in Transportation, Logistics, Rail Operations, or related fields.
• Ability to lead safety, quality, and production initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute and communicate safety plans and safety briefings.
• Conduct safety observations and operational tests for compliance.
• Eliminate hazards and communicate issues to leadership.
• Manage car inspection, yard, and line-of-road work to meet standards.
• Coach and train managers and union employees to achieve results.
• Delegate and monitor shop and yard strategies daily.
• Forecast staffing, scheduling, and material requirements.
• Support budgeting and other activities as assigned by management.
