Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of paint experience preferred.
• Willing to work dayshift and nightshift with overtime, including weekends if required.
• Experience with spray equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, coats and finishes metal surfaces.
• Operates conventional and airless spray equipment to apply finishes.
• Mixes and applies alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and waterborne paint systems.
• Adjusts nozzles to achieve proper dispersion and monitors viscosity.
• Cleans paint lines, guns and performs preventative maintenance.
• Regulates temperature and air flow in drying ovens.
• May perform Prep and Sandblast duties.
• Maintains required paperwork and follows safety practices.
