Job summary

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent experience.
• Certifications to operate forklifts and heavy equipment as specified by CF Rail Management.

Responsibilities

• Inspect railcars for proper condition before painting.
• Perform final preparations including caulking and masking before painting.
• Maintain paint usage logs and record quantity used during application.
• Operate various paint equipment such as cup guns and airless spray.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts of supplies.
• Mix paint per vendor specifications.
• Apply paint and stencils using various methods.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Complete educational training requirements.
• Wear PPE in designated areas.
