VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is hiring for a railcar paint shop worker in our Texas facility. You will remove, repair, clean, and reapply outlet gates on hopper cars, assist with paint touch-ups, stencil work, interior and exterior painting, and shop cleanup. Depending on workload, you may rotate to other locations.

We value safety, quality, and teamwork. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand long hours, and pass background and drug screening; prior railcar experience is preferred and

Competenze

• One year of railcar experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Commitment to safety and quality procedures.

Mansioni

• Maintain safety and participate in the Behavior Based Safety (BBS) program.
• Follow AAR/FRA, Customer, Manufacturer, and SRS procedures and regulations; promote quality.
• Meet production goals and ensure no rework; communicate supplements to supervisor.
• Complete required paperwork and signs off on work.
• Operate blasting equipment and PPE; assist with equipment maintenance.
• Assist with shop housekeeping and training of new employees as needed.
• Follow safety, production, and QA policies.
