Job summary

Drummac, Inc. is hiring a QP (Mechanical Helper) in Goleta, CA to help maintain and repair passenger rail cars and locomotives under supervision. The role includes cleaning duties and strict safety/compliance with railroad regulations.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots passenger cars including toilets, A/C, doors, panels, lights, electrical and brake systems and performs repairs.
Performs electrical tests and maintains batteries and electrical components on locomotives.
Counts, fills out regulatory and client paperwork as required.
Provides blue signal protection and sets up blue flags/lights.
Performs cleaning duties on passenger rail cars and locomotives as needed.
Communicates inspection findings to Supervisor and works overtime as required.
Maintains safety and uses protective equipment; follows conduct guidelines.
