Watco is seeking a Railcar Inspector/Maintenance Tech to keep freight moving. You’ll inspect, repair, and re-rail railcars in compliance with FRA and AAR regulations, document work, and support site operations.
This role requires welding capability, blueprint reading, equipment operation, and meticulous record-keeping; training is provided at Watco's Safe Performance Center, with 10-hour shifts and overtime.

Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00
Schedule: Mon-Thurs (10hr days with OT)
Responsible for rail car inspection, maintenance and repairs in accordance with FRA and AAR regulations. Must re-rail cars and provide estimate damages at derailment sites, make out billing repair cards in compliance with AAR office manual, and identify AAR/FRA violations when present on railcars.This job description is general and illustrative of the type of duties required for this position.
