Responsibilities

• Safely operate shot blasting equipment with moderate supervision.
• Prepare interior and exterior railcar surfaces by removing rust, scale, weld slag, and contaminants.
• Inspect railcars after blasting for damage and quality.
• Grind weld spatter and sharp edges as required.
• Maintain blasting equipment and related tools; monitor performance.
