Mendocino Railway in Fort Bragg, CA is seeking a Railbike Operations Manager to lead the railbike experience, ensure safety and guest satisfaction, and drive financial performance. You will manage staff, schedules, and maintenance while upholding compliance across operations in Fort Bragg and Willits.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service excellence, and the ability to analyze operational data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be 18+.
• Previous management experience in tourism, hospitality, outdoor recreation, attractions, transportation, or related industry.
• Experience leading teams in a customer-facing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with equipment maintenance oversight; bike repair preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all railbike operations in Fort Bragg and Willits.
• Develop staffing plans aligned with tour schedules and seasonal demand.
• Monitor performance, improve guest satisfaction, and control costs.
• Lead safety programs, compliance, and training of staff.
• Maintain records, maintenance logs, inventory, and reporting.
• Coordinate repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
