Waste Resource Management, Inc. is hiring a dependable Yard Worker for a full-time position in Denver, CO. You will support daily yard operations, sorting and organizing rail cars, and assisting with freight handling to keep workflows smooth and safe.

The role requires safety-minded teamwork, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. Background and drug screening are required, with competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience may substitute.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and hard-working.
• Ability to focus and avoid distractions during shifts (no cell phone use).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsabilités

• Sort and organize rail cars to support yard operations.
• Couple/uncouple rail cars safely and accurately.
• Scale trucks in and out of the yard.
• Inspect equipment for safety or maintenance issues.
• Operate switches and signals to direct rail traffic.
• Communicate clearly with yard personnel and train crews.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight as needed.
• Operate forklifts when required.
