Rail Modal Group is seeking an Operations Associate to support rail and yard operations in Fremont, NE. You will coordinate train movements, verify inventory, and operate heavy equipment to ensure safe handling of materials and efficient cargo flow.

You will also assist in Transload, Yard, Reefer, Elevator, and Office operations as directed, performing physically demanding tasks and maintaining equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate train and cargo movement by executing instructions and communicating with the RMG team.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks and document container information.
• Verify train inventory and process paperwork using tablets and systems.
• Operate forklifts, hoop conveyor, conveyors/augers, and other equipment as needed.
• Assist with sample collection and safety/maintenance reporting.
• Safely operate yard trucks and load/unload containers for shipments.
