Western Milling in Visalia, CA is seeking an experienced Bulk Receiving Operator for rail car operations, equipment maintenance, and general plant cleanliness with emphasis in the rail yard. Responsibilities include unloading rail cars, operating forklifts and other yard equipment, and maintaining detailed bulk receiving records.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift experience preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years related experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic operating knowledge of augers, belt-driven machinery, elevators, and other equipment used in the production process.

Responsabilidades

• Unload bulk commodities from rail cars.
• Operate locomotive, trackmobile, forklift, and other equipment to support production.
• Switch rail cars within rail yard for product offload into receiving pits.
• Maintain radio communication with other rail team members and supervisor.
• Operate augers, belt-driven machinery, and elevators used in the production process.
• Clean-up leftover product around silos, receiving pits and rails.
• Clear documentation of bulk receiving records and rail car seals to maintain traceability.
• Report any observed product quality issues to appropriate manager/supervisor.
