Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable electro-mechanical experience or combination of related work and technical training.
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing as mandated.
• Must pass a physical examination.
• Maintenance of electronic, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair components of rail vehicles, including electrical and braking systems.
• Test and determine causes of malfunctions using instruments and gauges.
• Remove and replace components as needed.
• Adjust and repair various rail vehicle components.
• Prepare written reports and perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally perform duties of Car Servicer.
