Qualifications

• Experience in installation of mechanic equipment.
• Understanding of assembly build practices and procedures.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical torque, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Own and maintain a basic hand tool set.
• Experience in precision measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer).
• Experience with safe work environments and teamwork.
• Ability to read drawings and solve problems.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment on transit vehicles per pre-established schedule.
• Use precision measuring devices and verify work against specifications.
• Record test results, torque values, and part/serial numbers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders.
• Document work performed and materials used; follow safety procedures.
