Job summary

Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in Rail to work with CAIT and the Advanced Infrastructure Center. You will conduct independent research with defined objectives, coordinate internal resources, track progress, manage budgets, and mentor students.

Qualifications

• PhD in civil engineering or related field from ABET-accredited university.
• Excellent communication and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for project execution.
• Track project performance and budget objectives.
• Supervise team members and hire additional staff as needed.
• Perform quality control and reporting on rail engineering projects.
• Prepare technical reports, journal articles, and conference presentations.
• Collaborate with academic and industry partners and mentor students.
