Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, ideally in rail/transit.
  • 4+ years of project management experience with responsibility for projects, teams, clients and budgets.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Experience in signals, communications, train control or related rail/transit systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of mid-sized rail and transit engineering projects from planning through completion.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources and project financial performance.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and delegate work to engineers and staff.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact and maintain relationships.
  • Identify project risks, scope changes and issues to ensure successful delivery.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes and compliance with contracts and engineering requirements.
  • Manage forecasts, budgets, staffing and resource plans.
  • Identify opportunities for additional scope and follow-on work.
