Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of business development experience within railroad, rail or transit industries.
• Established network with rail/transit agencies, owners, clients and industry partners.
• Proven success winning new business and developing long-term client relationships.
• Strong understanding of transit market, procurement processes, funding mechanisms and industry trends.
• Experience developing and executing capture and growth strategies.
• Strong commercial awareness to identify and convert market opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to support growth across Railroad & Transit markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transit agencies, rail organizations, clients, industry partners and teaming firms.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Lead capture strategies, including client positioning, teaming, opportunity planning and win strategies.
• Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to develop compelling proposals and fee strategies.
• Monitor market trends, infrastructure investment, funding programs and procurement opportunities.
• Support contract negotiations, partnership development and other commercial activities.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences and client engagements.
• Develop and manage the business development pipeline with leadership.
• Provide mentorship to internal teams on business development and client relationships.
