Job summary

American Track in Denver is seeking a dedicated railroad track worker to install, maintain, and repair track infrastructure. You will replace rails and ties, adjust switches, and build track sections while following safety procedures and timely reporting. <\/p>

Role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and readiness for varied weather, with occasional travel and weekend callouts. Training provided on site.<\/p>

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain railroad tracks, embankments, and related infrastructure, including special track work, signage, and rail lubrications.
• Perform track construction and repair tasks such as replacing rail and ties, adjusting switches, and building track sections.
• Operate manual tools and specialized hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct visual inspections of track components to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Accurately record work performed and report issues to supervisors.
• Respond to after-hours and weekend callouts for emergency track repairs and derailment recovery.
• Assist in re-railing train cars and restoring track integrity.
• Participate in safety briefings and discuss jobsite hazards and best practices.
• Support site setup and cleanup to maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Follow all safety regulations, including PPE use and hazard reporting.
• Collaborate with crew members and maintain professional demeanor on job sites.
• Utilize basic digital tools (e.g., QR codes, timekeeping systems) as required.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
